Cassie Carver

The site is the product of three diabolical minds. The first one is Cassie Carver, our resident casino geek girl. She is perhaps the most prolific writer in the group. Not surprisingly, her geekiness extends to web design. She designed the first few versions of Casino Room World. Specifically, versions 1-4. This was during a relatively hard time for us, when we had no day jobs to support backend details of the site. Since we couldn’t pay for a professional web designer, Cassie volunteered to do the designs. The web designs she made served our purpose back then. But now they are mere relics of the past. (And to quote Cassie, “It should remain that way!”)

Stuart Spacey

The second is Stuart Spacey. He is our resident beta tester and game tutorial writer extraordinaire. Stuart takes care of the more technical aspects of the site. For one, he tests all the new games and technologies being rolled out. For another, he does all of the complicated calculations. For example, he is the one who writes all of the probability cheat sheets for various classic casino games. Maybe you’ve read some of our famous strategy guides for games like roulette. The third is Kris Kristofersson. Kris manages the business side of Casino Room World. He takes care of details such as selling his soul for the site to survive, among other things. From Casino Room World’s inception, Kris has taken care of collecting funds for our continued operation. He also creates budget milestones that each member must meet. Casino Room World came about as a college project between the three founders. Cassie, Stuart, and Kris were taking up a liberal arts course in college. Their first fateful meeting was at a campus-based cafe at UWU. Stuart was deep in thought thinking up a strategy guide for roulette then. Cassie and Kris, who were passing by, happened to see what Stuart was working on. They each sat down on either side of him and gave their own input into the strategy guide.

This turned into an impromptu sharing of casino experiences. Cassie and Stuart had experience in a terrestrial casino, while Kris had only played on the internet. The two regaled Kris with the advantages and pitfalls of the terrestrial casinos. Cassie and Stuart, on the other hand, have never played casino on the internet before.

Session

This prompted a session on Kris’s room later on after class. It turned out that he lived in the apartment just off-campus. Once there, Kris readied some drinks (beer) and introduced Stuard and Cassie to the wonders of online casino.
