First impressions at any restaurant will always come from the décor. How does it hit you when you walk through the door? Does it look like somewhere you’re going to want to spend time?
In this case, you’ll be entering a building that is made up of high ceilings with beautiful flower arrangements, crown molding, lots of awnings, and large atrium space. It feels at once quite grand and premium, without being in any way intimidating or daunting – it still has a friendly and quite intimate feeling.
The layout lends itself well to all kinds of groups and parties. It’s easy to get something to eat from one of the 15 stations, and there’s plenty of room to move around.

Of course, the main meals come out at lunch, at which point you’ll find a whole lot of standard buffet favorites, things like grilled vegetables, chicken wings, chili, mac n’ cheese. There are numerous different meats to pick from too that are cooked fresh. Then there’s the salad bar for you to duly ignore! (Though for the health conscious there are plenty of choices such as quinoa salad, kale salad, and more.)

Dinner brings even more delicious meats carved fresh, along with different cuisines such as an Asian area with options like Peking duck. Dessert is also a veritable smorgasbord of incredible treats.
In short, there’s pretty much everything you could hope to find somewhere like this. And not only that, but all these delicious foods are cooked to delicious perfection. Nice touches, like getting juice in little bottles rather than plastic cups, remind you that this is one of the top buffets around.

Wynn Buffet Tips and Extras
There are a couple of extra costs that you might find your meal incurs, depending on your intended purpose. For instance, you should be aware that there is a very large queue when you attend during the busier periods and this can cause waits of up to an hour each visit.
One way around this problem is to pay an additional small cost of $10 per person in order to skip the line between Monday and Friday. This amount goes up however during brunch and weekends, at which point it will increase to $16 per person.

If you like, you can shell out a little more too. If you are willing to pay for the $20 VIP pass, then you will not only skip the queue but you will also be given a ‘free’ glass of sparkling wine or sangria. This will also entitle you to 10% off of the next day’s buffet.
Finally, for those that are looking to celebrate, there is also an ‘all you can drink’ add on fee. This is called ‘Endless Pour’ and it includes your pick of draft beers, sparkling wines, regular wines, cocktails, and more. This lasts for two hours – but is undoubtedly very good value if you plan on knocking a couple of beers back with your dinner.
Closing Comments
This is one of the best buffets in Vegas and for good reason. It sells fantastic food with a truly gigantic selection, it has lots of options, and it’s beautifully laid out. It is a little more expensive though, and you could find yourself paying more than you expected too if you decide you want to jump the queue rather than wait for a long time.
But if you’re prepared for that, then you’ll be sure to have an excellent time at the Wynn Buffet.
Made by artist Steve Casino, the tiny sculptures are made from peanut shells with the contents removed before being glued back together and sanded to prep them for painting over. He equips each of the peanuts with sticks for legs and arms, as well as various media for other accessories, then sets them up on a base to get them standing upright.

Once he’s built the figures, he then paints over each one, turning the peanuts into miniature likenesses of various characters. When finished, each piece is bathed in a finish of polyurethane coating for strength and longevity. He’s produced a large variety of the miniature figures, which include comic book characters (Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman), film and TV characters (Addams Family, Star Trek, Frankenstein, James Bond), musicians (Bono, Elton John) and more.
Aside from the finish figures, Steve also does commission work, so you can request Peanut Sculptures of anyone you want, from the Planters Mr. Peanut dude to Snoopy and the cast of Peanuts to your nutty mother in law. Each sculpture is shipped with a display case to further keep damage away when you show them off at your desk in the office.
Pricing for the Peanut Sculptures start at $175, but that quickly adds up depending on the kind of paint job and accessories (hair, musical instruments, extra limbs) thrown in.
